About Me

Always Under Construction

I got my start in the arts by drawing and sculpting.  Graduating with a Bachelors degree from Sonoma State University,  I worked professionally as an artist for a museum diorama design and fabrication company that created “scenes” for science and history museums all over the world.  I would work with a team, and sometimes on my own, researching trees, plants, rocks, animals, etc… and then fabricate them to look as real as possible.  Some of my best work can be seen in the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. and in the Natural History Museum in Raleigh, North Carolina.

After working for a few years as a professional traditional artist, I decided to go back to school for a Bachelor of Fine Arts in animation and visual effects from the Academy of Art University.  Having created “real” scenes frozen in time, I wanted to get more creative and make more fantasy scenes that I could bring to life through animation and modeling in CG.

Other interests include traveling with my family, watching movies with my wife, biking, hiking, weekend soccer games, playing video games, walking my dog, finding new animations and cool artwork.

I’m currently looking to work for an animation studio or video game company.
